"Rock and Roll" Sunday School Class

We strive to have our feet on the "Rock" and our name on the "Roll".

This class was established in 2004 by a group that was hungry for short-term, contemporary studies.  Our studies have included how to lead our lives like Jesus, political issues from a Christian's point of view, and cross examining parables and how they relate to our lives in the 21st century.  The class is lead by an individual with an in-depth biblical knowledge and who knows how to create active discussions among the attendees.  The majority of the time Methodist literature is used for study guides.  The class has no set boundaries and is open to any individual.  We welcome to hear new perceptions.

                                                           Friendship Sunday School Class

Our class is made up of FRIENDS.  The purpose of our class is to study how we can best serve God.   Our current study is on the 1st/2nd Book of Corinthians.  Our teachers are Lyle Smith, Hugh Harrington and Jack Adkins.  Everyone takes part in the lesson; the class is not a lecture type but a discussion class.  Each person tries to help others: some of our members work with Meals on Wheels, visit the sick and those who cannot come to the church; others drive a person to the hospital or to the doctor.  We keep in touch with those who need us.  We have a potluck dinner in Fellowship Hall the second Friday of each month at 6:30 pm and anyone is welcome to come.

If you are looking for a Sunday School class, ours might be just the right one for you.
