Our Pastor
Rev. Jeff Jaynes was born and raised in the Tulsa area. He and his wife Adriane both graduated from high schools in Tulsa and grew up in the United Methodist Church. They love to travel, and are big fans of sports and the arts. Our pastor's educational experiences and training include:
Jeff has a passion for the Tulsa area and its people and before answering the call to ministry, worked in a variety of public service positions both locally and nationally. He and Adriane look forward to meeting you! Come, Share Your Journey of Faith with Us! Southern Hills UMC is a smaller church where you can be an important part of the family. It is also a church fellowship that is a part of a much broader outreach into the community and the world in ministry, and you can be an important part of it. At Southern Hills, we take God and our faith seriously-and we are able to have a lot of fun at the same time! It is our understanding that to be active in Christian service is not an option which one may choose or ignore. It is an activity that, in the joy of serving, becomes a driving force to keeping us healthy and whole. Every part of the body of Christ belongs to God and is important. If you would like to join our part of the body of Christ, we would love to have you! We have regular membership classes so just let Pastor Jeff or one of the ushers know you are interested.
